Clean &amp; well decorated large family-run restaurant. Various brothers &amp; waitering staff working the rooms &amp; the outside. Mother effigy is downstairs. Ceiling is a rooftop garden. A poppadum bar snack starter with 5 dips was a mere &pound;1.50.  I had the tasty prawn biryani which came with rice &amp; a curry for &pound;16.50. Teas &amp; coffees available at a modest price. I had a larger cider for &pound;6. Surprisingly out of the blue I was rewarded with a 20% discount by the elder brother in charge. - something which I have notified TheFork as discounts for single lone diners are hard to come by sadly. Very enjoyable - During my visit - journalists were taking photos of samples of the food &amp; more. Camera flashes.

Stumbled on this place because everywhere else was full and had a lovely lunch. Sat upstairs and although it was busy we weren&#39;t rushed. Had a very refreshing salad. Nice staff. Reasonable prices.

The food was excellent. Really flavorful and rich. However, they told us that in order to receive the 50% discount applicable by booking through The Fork that we had to order 1 starter, 1 main, 1 rice and 1 naan each. Apparently, this is written on their website somewhere, but it&rsquo;s not on the T&amp;Cs here, so we disputed it and received the 50% off. It wasn&rsquo;t clear if this is an actual rule or something they may try to increase order amounts, but they need to make it clear before booking here, because most people won&rsquo;t look at the website and it&rsquo;s very unprofessional to try to hold people to something they have no idea of while making a booking here.

Had the taste of summer menu which had tasty dishes and was really good value. Impeccable service too so an excellent lunch overall.

A little on the expensive side food wise but it is London! Lovely food, great service by all the staff and some lovely beers on tap.Wood walled, wood chairs, wood floor and wood tables give it that authentic old world ambience.Would definitely recommend and worth booking ahead!

Did not have facteur all as we were not hungry so can&rsquo;t comment on the food. Went for drinks  as the bar seem so nice and welcoming . Th&eacute; atmosphere was lovely and the service very friendly. Will definitely come back.

City Spice was recommended and didn&rsquo;t disappoint, food was great, i had the meat thali, all the little dishes were delicious, not greasy and perfectly flavoured

have become my favorite indian place in London. visited the second time and the food is top quality as my previous visit. Ordered not many food as previous which made us food comma but this one just hit right. Will be regular.

A 20% TheFork discount was applied for a lone single diner which took me aback as it was not featured. I was gagging for an English tea drink as a starter &amp; this was wiped off or bounced from the final bill , which is rare to get something free &amp; &#39;on the house&#39; nowadays. I had a prawn bhuna curry with steamed fluffy white rice which was delicious (I always think bhuna is just about right for the English palate in terms of spice.) Mother is still observing the brothers from downstairs. Heartily recommend checking it out. Reasonably busy for an early Sunday evening reservation.

This was a nice discovery. From the outside, it looks quite simple, but on the inside, the roof is nicely covered with flowers and leaves giving the whole place an exotic vibe.  The food is spectacular. Absolutely recommendable.

exceeded all expectations! The authentic flavors and variety of dishes were impressive. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who catered to our needs and even recommended dishes. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great place for both casual dining and special occasions. I highly recommend eastern eye for a true Indian food experience!

The food was great (the Rhum Baba, which was underwhelming), service was spotless, all in all, a fantastic experience.
